Meet Our Team
Dr. Michael E. Miller
Dr. Miller grew up in Wooster. He graduated from the University of Toledo and then from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1990. After completing a General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, he headed back to his hometown and joined the practice of Dr. Ted Crawford, his childhood dentist.
Dr. Miller has enjoyed the relationships he has developed over the last 30 years with his patients, staff, and partners in Wooster. He is excited to practice alongside Dr. Nutile and Dr. Cox and continue the dental services that started at the downtown Wooster office over sixty years ago.
He is a life member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Stark County Dental Society.
Dr. Miller and his wife Beth are the parents of four children and have been active in numerous community groups and activities during their time in Wooster.
Dr. Nicholas A. Nutile
Dr. Nutile is a Michigan native and attended Kalamazoo College where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Chemistry. Upon graduation, he moved to Cleveland to attend Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree and a Prosthodontics excellence award. After dental school, he headed west for a two year General Practice Residency in surgical dentistry at the University of Colorado before returning to his wife’s hometown of Wooster, Ohio to start his career and raise his family.
Dr. Nutile practices all aspects of general dentistry including root canals, extractions, wisdom teeth, dental implants, and Invisalign. In 2025, he was the recipient of Case Western Reserve University’s prestigious “Outstanding New Dentist” award for his work at South Market Dental. Dr. Nutile highly values communication and education, and empowering his patients to make the best, most informed decisions for their dental health.
Dr. Nutile is a passionate outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and raising his two young boys to appreciate all the natural world has to offer.
Dr. James C. Cox
Dr. James Cox grew up in Cornwall, Pennsylvania. He graduated summa cum laude from Temple University before earning his D.M.D. from Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine. While at Case, he received multiple honors, including the American College of Dentists’ Outstanding Student Leader Award,” the Clinical Scholarship Award for exceptional clinical accomplishment, and induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
After dental school, Dr. Cox completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado, serving as Chief Resident during his second year. During his residency, he developed a strong relationship with Dr. Nutile and a deep appreciation for his high moral character, commitment to ethical dentistry, and passion for clinical excellence.
Following residency, Dr. Cox returned to Pennsylvania with his wife, Abby, where they began their family. He practiced in the private sector before joining the Lebanon VA Medical Center. During his time at the VA, he served as Director of the General Practice Residency program, where he had the opportunity to mentor and teach residents as they developed a broad range of clinical skills, including implant dentistry, restorative and surgical dentistry, and endodontics.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cox has dedicated himself to developing the skills necessary to provide truly comprehensive dental care. Just as importantly, he places a high value on educating his patients and guiding them through their treatment options so they can make informed decisions that best fit their individual needs and circumstances.
Outside of dentistry, James most enjoys spending time with his wife, Abby, and their young daughter. He is an avid music lover, outdoorsman, and dedicated archer.
