Dr. Nicholas Nutile of Wooster’s South Market Dental has been named “Outstanding New Dentist” by Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine.
A 2017 graduate of CWRU, Nutile went on to complete a two-year General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado where he received training in surgical and restorative dentistry.
“Dr. Nutile was an excellent student throughout his doctoral and postdoctoral studies in dentistry, leading his classmates and co-residents in didactic and clinical achievements,” said Dr. Samuel Cohen, a former CWRU classmate who nominated Nutile for this award.
In 2019, Nutile and his family moved back to his wife’s hometown where he joined Dr. Michael Miller at his downtown Wooster practice.
Today, Nutile focuses on general and preventative dentistry including extractions, root canals, implants, clear aligner orthodontic treatment, and more.
“My goal in dentistry is simple: provide high-quality, patient-centered care to the Wooster community and surrounding area,” Nutile said.
Outside of the office, Nutile regularly volunteers for the Ohio Dental Association’s “Give Kids a Smile” program making dental exams accessible to children across the region. He is also a member of the Stark County Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
In his free time, Nutile enjoys spending time outdoors with his family as well as hunting, fishing, and camping.
Nutile was honored at an award ceremony at Case Western Reserve University’s Tinkham Veale Center on Saturday, November 16.
